DNAREC

A Marie Curie Early Stage Training Site 2006-2010

About the Training Site

The DNAREC training site is a multidisciplinary initiative across Chemistry and Biosciences studying and training students in DNA recognition by small molecule drugs and proteins.  The programme ran from 2006-10 funded by the EU Marie Curie Programme and trained 11 outstanding young researchers.  Although this funding stream is now finished, we are happy to explore alternative opportunities with young researchers interested in getting skills and training in this area in a unique environment where chemists and biologists work together in close partnership exchanging ideas and skills.
