Details

Yoel graduated from the University of Birmingham in the Summer of 2005, where he completed his final-year project with Liam.  He enjoyed himself so much that he decided to stay within the group. His PhD is a collaborative project between Liam and Professor Del Besra in the School of Biosciences, where he is investigating the role of glycolipids in CD1d-mediated immunity.

Yoel is funded by the Wellcome Trust and the University of Birmingham.
